Mother of Buffalo is a 30-minute documentary film following one woman’s struggle to protect an endangered herd of wild water buffalo on Hong Kong’s Lantau Island. It’s a story of perseverance, of the connection and conflict between humans and nature, and a rarely-seen side of Hong Kong amidst transformative change.

This project is in final post production and preparing for festival entry. Filming for a sequel is underway.
